Dave lives with his wife and family on the north coast of NSW. The Rae’s are a water-loving family who spend much of their free time in, on or nearby the water; which suits the Old Fella just fine!
He’s a high school teacher and fishing journalist who writes for Modern Fishing; Saltwater Fishing; Barra, Bass with Bream and the NAFA Journal for over a decade; and a member of Daiwa’s Pro Team for almost as long . As far as fishing styles go, Dave’ll have a crack at anything, although he spends a fair bit of time chasing wild bass and mangrove jacks in the creeks and snapper and mackerel on the blue water. He also admits to an ongoing love affair with camping up on the Great Barrier Reef … and likes nothing better than sitting down to a mouthwatering fillet of coral trout under the tarp! |
