The LS 122L is perfectly balanced with a 3000 – 4000 spinning reel loaded with 3 – 6 kg line. It’s an ideal rod for light tackle situations like float fishing, lure fishing and drift baiting off the rocks for Luderick, leather jackets, salmon, small pelagics and drummer. But it’s also really at home as an estuary and bay rod for whiting, flathead, bream etc when fishing form the shore, piers and rock groins. Its light tip will indicate the lightest bites and it is able to cast light weights easily.
The LS 122M is a great medium weight all rounder. Rated for 6 – 10 kg line it is the ideal rod for anglers chasing salmon, tailor, pelagics and other surf species from the beach or rocks. Best suited to a 4000 size reel spooled up with 6 – 10 kg line, this rod will cast weights from 1 oz (28gms) to 3 oz (90 gms) with ease. This is the ideal all rounder rod perfect for lure, bait and float fishing all across Australia.
The LS 122H is the powerhouse rod in the range. Ideally matched with a 4000 – 4500 sized reel spooled with 7 – 15kg line, this light but powerful rod is designed to really put the hurt on any fish that bites. Perfect for heavy tackle situations like chasing drummer, groper, snapper and reef dwellers off the rocks.
