Sensor Surf IZM

The wave of innovation has arrived with the new Sensor Surf rod series. Featuring the pedigree, performance and diversity of its predecessor, the new Sensor Surf ignites on the water integrating a tsunami of new technologies to see it further enhance its reputation as one of Daiwa’s finest surf fishing rod series.

Loaded with design brilliance and innovation the Sensor Surf is for those looking for performance, value, and unrivalled excellence when it comes to their surf fishing, and demand nothing less than the very best.

Cutting edge in style, function and form the new Sensor Surf series is surfing stardom in true Daiwa style.

Master Blank

Surfing greatness starts with a great blank and the Sensor Surf series is true to that philosophy and features many of Daiwa’s newest design and blank technologies to create a range that is equally refined, rugged and robust.

HVF carbon is where it all begins, with Daiwa’s low resin, high strength, reduced weight, high density carbon the foundation for a series that is stripped of unwanted weight, yet loaded with all the power that you need, and refined performance that you demand.

Daiwa’s innovative V Joint technology takes the performance and strength of Sensor Surf HVF carbon blank to another level, with the Bias Wrap supported rod joints allowing the rod ferrule to flex with the rod to eliminate week spots, and ensure that multi-piece blanks match the performance of one-piece blanks in flex, power and responsiveness.

Unmatched in design, strength and refinement the Sensor Surf series is modern blank ingenuity blended with old-school style and design.

Classic Components

Comfort and control go hand in hand with low profile EVA grips fitting comfortably and effortlessly in the hand allowing you to reap the full benefits and power of the Sensor Surf’s performance driven blanks.

In-hand control is further enhanced with a shrink-wrap section below the rear EVA grip providing the ultimate non-slip grip. An innovation for surf fishing where waves and water are a constant presence, the shrink-wrapped design can be trimmed and tailored to an angler’s desired length.

A super light and strong graphite Fuji reel seat connects rod and reel with unflinching strength, and features stainless components for optimum corrosion resistance. The trend for quality components continues with Fuji Alconite K Series guides delivering tangle free angling and hassle free days on the water. Up to 35% lighter, and 50% stronger than ordinary guides Alconite guides incorporate Fuji’s S-4 Stainless Steel for effortless maintenance and unmatched corrosion resistance.

Classic in style, and industry leading in design the Sensor Surf series has the components to stand out from the pack, and the performance to match their cutting edge blanks.
