This exact method can be used for almost all of the plastics in the Bait Junkie family. Whether it’s targeting flathead with the 10” Gar, Murray cod with the 6.2” Minnow or even tuna with the 7” Jerkshad adding a treble could be the difference because catching these fish or missing a hook up of a life time. Here in just a few steps I’m going to show you just how easy and effortless adding a treble to your Bait Junkie lures really is.

Gear required

* Bait Junkie Jighead to suit x 1

* Swivel of appropriate size for application x 1

* Split ring of appropriate size x 1

* Treble of appropriate size x 1

* Split ring pliers and bait threading needle.

Step 1:

Simply rig your Bait Junkie of choice as you normally would.

Step 2:

Insert the bait threading needle into the bottom of the Bait Junkie on a diagonal angle and exit just behind where the jighead hook is exposed.

Step 3:

Attach split ring and swivel to the treble and hook onto the loop of the bait threading needle.

Step 4:

Pull the needle all the way through the Bait Junkie until the swivel is fully exposed then remove the needle.

Step 5: (photo)

Place the swivel directly over the hook point.
