Reel Service and Repairs
Servicing your reel is important to maintain its good working order and maximise the longevity of your reel.
How the reel service process works:
Step 1: Please fill out and complete the online ‘Reel Repair Form’ located below.
Once you’ve completed the online form the team at the Daiwa Service Department will enter your details into our Service Order System.
Please note you can also attach a photo of your proof of purchase to the ‘Reel Repair Form’, if you wish to claim warranty.
Step 2: Package your reel and send it to the address below along with a printed copy of your submitted ‘Reel Repair Form’ (you will receive an emailed copy of this form when you submit it online), we also suggest that you keep a copy of your shipping tracking number just in-case you need it. When sending your reel post it to the following address:

Step 3: Once your reel arrives at Daiwa we will place your reel in the queue, and once your reel gets to the front of the queue one of our highly skilled Reel Technicians will assess your reel and provide a quote to you either by phone or email. If you wish to go ahead with the quoted work we will process the payment over the phone and complete the work on your reel.
Step 4: Your reel will be securely packaged and sent with premium express post to get back in your hands within 1-2 business days.
Currently our service labour charge is the following
Standard Spin Reels (non-tournament) - $35
Standard Baitcaster & Overhead Reels (non-tournament) - $40
Tournament Reels (Certate, Saltiga, Steez, Exist, Pluton etc) - $65
Electric Reels – (Standard) - $120 – Marine Power 3000 $160
Shipping - $11.00 (inc GST) flat rate

Spare parts can be purchased direct from Daiwa. Complete and submit the appropriate form - Daiwa Stockists use the "Stockists Oder Form", everybody else should use the "Spare Parts Order Form".
