TikTokDhufish, or dhuies, belong to a family called glaucosomatidae, which includes pearl perch. They have the same large mouth and squared off tail as their eastern cousins. Dhuies can grow to over 1m and about 40kg, but are generally caught at around 50cm and 3-4kg. Dhufish are usually found in nearshore waters from about 20-50m. They respond to a variety of live and dead baits, and will also take soft plastics and jigs.
