Eastern yellowfin bream are a member of the sparidae family, and are a small predatory fish that inhabits estuary and inshore regions along the eastern seaboard. Yellowfin bream are generally a silver colour, but can become darker if they spend time in freshwater. Yellowfin bream can reach nearly 60cm and 3kg, however specimens over 40cm and 1kg are considered trophy fish.
