The upsize offering from the 2.5” minnow, the 3.2” version is a juiced-up swimbait ready to catch anything that swims in either salt or freshwater. A slightly thicker body can accept larger hooks and larger bait keepers, and the slightly bigger boot tail produces an almighty thump to attract predators in deep or dirty water. Supremely versatile, the 3.2” Minnow can be rigged on a traditional jighead and hopped off the bottom to chase species such as flathead & mulloway. It can be rigged on a weighted offset ‘worm’ hook and cast tight to structure for species such as Australian bass, mangrove jack & more. It can also be utilised as a trailer for your favourite spinnerbait, chatterbait or buzzbait to chase Australian native species.

The newest release in the Bait Junkie range the 4.2” Minnow adopts a new shape and a slightly different material to produce an epic action that is deadly in salt and freshwater. 

The deeper body enables flexibility for rigging options and helps promote the rolling action that makes this bait so successful. The big boot tail produces a heavy thump to call in nearby predators and will work at low and high speed making it incredibly versatile.

The go-to choice for many anglers chasing prized saltwater fish such as snapper, the Bait Junkie 5” Jerkshad exhibits some of the most incredible swimming action ever witnessed from a ‘fluke’ style bait. The Bait Junkie ‘slim waist’ design principle is in full flight in the 5” Jerkshad, with the prominent waist section segmenting the bait into two separate parts. The vertical fluke tail exaggerates the action and the hinge-like effect of the body makes the tail section of the BaitJunkie 5” Jerkshad swim like no other. A belly slit enables weedless rigging with an EWG style weighted hook and is the rigging method of choice when you want to keep the bait up high in the water column. When rigged on a traditional jighead and hopped off the bottom, the action of the tail will turn inquisitive fish into catches!

The largest offering in the initial BaitJunkie line-up, the 7” Jerkshad is like no other. With the longer body and more mass, the incredible ‘S’ wave swimming motion which is so prevalent in the 5” version is only increased in the 7” model. The combination of the segmented body design and the vertical fluke tail makes this lure swim like you couldn’t imagine. Rigged with a traditional jighead design, the 7” jerkshad will swim on the drop, accounting for an incredible amount of strikes. On the straight retrieve the tail section moves like a snake through the water, allowing the bait to track straight & true, a great feature when chasing fast-moving pelagic species. The incorporated belly slit makes weedless rigging an easy possibility and presents almost endless possible uses for such a versatile bait design.

The upsized version of the 4.2” Minnow, the 6.2” Minnow is the perfect large swimbait to tempt big predators to strike. 

The versatile swimming action which is so evident in the 4.2” version is only increased in the 6.2” model. The longer body and extra girth create the ideal profile and when paired with the rolling/thumping swimming action and is the perfect imitation for large baitfish. 

The big boot tail will work at very slow speeds enabling the angler to “slow roll” for barramundi, mulloway and makes an excellent trailer when targeting big Murray cod.
