Favourite Technique / Species / Fishing Style
Definitely topwater/ hump-head wrasse/ sight casting is the pinnacle for me. Watching fish cruise the surface, putting a calculated casting in and then watching the eat is just unreal!
Angling Inspiration
I used to be heavily involved in fishing barra tournaments and over a two-year period I worked my way up into Australia’s Number 1 ranked ABT BARRA angler. Now I just love getting out wide away from everything with my wife as we tick off our species hit list.
My Local (Favourite Fishing Spot)
Kinchant Dam chasing massive barramundi and when the weather permits the Great Barrier Reef.
Why I Fish
Fishing is like second nature to me! I was lucky enough to have an amazing upbringing in Africa chasing tiger fish and largemouth bass on a weekly basis. So being able to bring that over to Australia and fish some of the most blissful fishing grounds in the world is more than I could ever ask for and forever grateful to have this opportunity.
